While Dr. Conrad Murray faces trial for his involvement in Michael Jackson’s death, a slew of celebrities will be celebrating the King of Pop’s life in a long-awaited, long-delayed tribute concert on October 8. Now, Black Eyed Peas and Jennifer Hudson have been added to the lineup of performers that already includes Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Leona Lewis, Smokey Robinson, Craig David and Ne-Yo.
Even Beyonce won’t let pregnancy stop her from taking part at the event: she’s reportedly recording a "unique, never before seen performance" that will be played at the gig. Jamie Foxx will serve as a host and is expected to sing as well.
The event will take place at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales and will be broadcast worldwide.
