The Creative Arts section of the PrimeTime Emmy Awards honored some of the best and funniest on television at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles last night.
Reuters reports veteran actress Loretta Devine won her first Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role on “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Hollywood BFF Gwenyth Paltrow also took home her first Emmy for her guest role as the singing substitute teacher on the comedy “Glee.”
While these two seasoned actresses are best known for their big screen work, Justin Timberlake won two awards in two different categories: for Outstanding Music and Lyrics and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for hosting “Saturday Night Live.”
The 30-year-old Pop singer, who has won six Grammys, will need to make more room on his award mantle as he already pocketed two other Emmys in May from his work with “Saturday Night Live.” Timberlake wasn’t present to receive his Creative Arts awards, which are seen as previews for who can expect to win at the Primetime Emmy ceremony, which airs September 18.
